I stumble on to these rear shocks and just bought one for £150 from www.gsjettech.com .
If like me you have a cheap bike where the £400+ bill for a new shock is greater than the value of your bike, then check’em out. We thought they must be cheap copies, but on digging we’re told that they’re Showa units? I’m sure that Showa make kit of different spec’s, but £90 for a rebuild on my 20yr old shock and £150 @ GS Jet Tec for a new one seemed worth a punt!
It feel frightfully weird just pushing the seat down, it has so much more travel! Its softer too cause its set for Enduro. I’ll ride it to work tomo and then have a play with the settings over the weekend if I have a chance. I may swap th springs over then?
Hagon’s are about 1 mile from me. I tried them first. They told me that you cant rebuild the shock/they have no replacement/and weren’t very helpful in changing the bearing in the linkages. Top firm I’m sure. But in the few cases that I have tried to deal with them, they’re not been able to help at all?

They rebuild their own shocks i believe, but probably not other makes. If they have no replacement for your MZ’s oe, well you cannot blame them for that. Linkage bearings? Try a MZ dealer.
