Advise needed about buying a new sports tourer

I’m thinking of buying a bigger faster sport tourer than my old VFR800-y for touring to Spain and Morocco also for commuting around the M25 doing about 45 miles to work and back everyday. One of the bikes I’m thinking of is the Yamaha FJR1300AS another one is a Honda CBR1100XX S Blackbird. Also best place to buy it in or around north London.

Your insights and thoughts would be appreciated.

All good bikes, I’d go for the Blackbird.

I would go for the Blackbird and I can recommend FirstLine in Arnos grove, they are my local Honda dealers and they are great.

You could also look at Chiswick Honda they have a vey large stock.

But if you are thinking of a tourer have a think about a BMW? Not to everyones taste but they are good reliable comfortable tourers just not as sporty.

Don’t rule out the Ducati ST4S ABS (it’s got 120 BHP). Some great deals to be had at the moment

The ZRX1200S is a mighty good tool.

Triumph Sprint ST 1050? Quite popular with the ex-VFR brigade. It tours, commutes, scratches, goes round corners, everything.
