That’s SW / W / S London by the way…not out in the sticks…
Teaching my 17yr old the basics prior to her formal driving lessons… in a CAR (gasp!)
Have used the top floor of a multi-story shopping center car park ( floor 7 when nobody drives up past floor 4),
It was useful for primary clutch control, braking and steering practice but need somewhere bigger to get up through the gears .
I learnt on a deserted airfield runway but Heathrow a bit busy for that and there ain’t many within 100 miles of London…
Obviously my sprog is not yet insured and has a provisional licence so [private land that is accesable without an angry landowner chasing us off is ideal…
I know it’s not near but may be something similar your way.in east london there is a place called car drone.
Off road practice area with roundabouts and traffic lights.not sure of cost but it looks great.
How about Richmond College in Twickenham car park? Thats where I went at the weekend when I first got my motorbike just to practice the controls before going on the roads.
