Got to work extra early at 5.45am to help a night shift team with some IT issues. Got to my bike at 12.30pm to head home. What do I find. Smashed left mirror and bent upwards to boot. Some idiot moved my bike some 3 feet left. I left it on centrestand, chain over seat and through rear wheel. As it was really pissing down I could not do a full check for damage, but if I ever find them, I’ll remove their left ear for them - seems fittingl. CS/B****S/F*****S!
CCTV from Coutts and my business banks with them. I might give it a try. (yes, I park in Adelaide Street… any one seen people move a nice green VFR750, please PM me) Mirror off Ebay for £25 delivered, if no-one else bids on it.
Not had a chance to check for damage, but the front end felt off centre, so I’ll check the forks over tomorrow if it is not pissing down. Brakes fine, did the pads on Saturday, clutch lever is fine, clutch is fine.
I just do not understand why people insist on moving bikes. No space, park elsewhere, that is life!
Now having to do headstock bearings as they are knocking, might be as a result of being dropped. All adding up now. Not comp on Ins, so this is putting me out of pocket to the tune of £300 all in now!
Please people, if you see others shifting bikes to make space, tell them to get lost or get up earlier if they want parking in that area! Feel free to hit them with your chains etc…
Nope, double tap .45 Colt Commander Gold Cup. Grew up there and used to carry firearms, also did target shooting to a high standard. However in this county such measures of defending your property/family are deemed inappropriate.
So I shall settle for sneezing when I have my helmet on. I really did not mean to headbutt them, but suffered a sneezing attack, I suffer from hayfever, allergy to scrotes starts the sneezing fits…
Normally I am very placid and laid back, it is just a heap of metal and plastic, but this is not the first time I’ve had to cough up the readies to fix the bike due to other people being careless/thoughtless/stupid!
