Camera is back as you reach Robin Hood roundabout after Asda.
Always used to be one there that I think was a test camera (don’t know why I think that, maybe read it somewhere). Anyway, its back!
The digital one that was there was a test camera - the one that took pics of the driver as well as the front numberplate. Cheers for the warning

I noticed this though last night… Just happened to look up and notice the big yellow box… Luckily I was too tired to be speeding anyway haha…
There were two cameras set up to test whether multi-occupancy lanes could be enforced by camera. One was on the A3 at New Malden, the other was on the A24 just north of the A272 junction.
The test stations involved a camera,and a video camera so the the automated system could be assessed against what was actually in the car.
I don’t think the tests came to anything.
