I was riding North on the A22 yesterday and there are large sections of the road where the top layer has been scraped off so its all grooved. Made for rather interesting braking. I don’t remember exactly where it was but I think it’s just inside the M25.
I went up this last night in the rain. It felt like riding on ice. Bloody terrifying!!
I got caught in a light drizzle too but think it’s horrible even if it was bone dry! Feels rather reckless that at least one lane wasn’t left for motorcycles. Can’t imagine how a bicycle would navigate that route!
