As some of you know, I quite regularly get asked to give presentations to various motorcycle groups and clubs around the country on a variety of motorcycle/legal related subjects.
However, I appreciate that not everyone is a member of a group and club but still have a wish to attend such an evening or event.
On that basis, if a talk/surgery type event was set up within reasonably easy travelling distance of where you live at an independent venue and was free of charge (even tea and coffee and maybe a few biccies may be provided at no cost as well ) would any of you be interested?
It is just an idea that I am kicking around at the moment so nothing speciific in mind yet. I am just trying to gauge what the interest might be.
And for those who say I am in the south and you live in the north, or you are in the west of the country or wherever, there would be a series of these around the country, so it would not be exclusive to just one part of the country.
I’d be interested. To give you an idea, my last Garmin Seminar (a long time ago now) at the OMC had about 15 people attending. Book a venue and they’ll come.
Don’t take it the wrong way, I’m only saying it as you probably want to gauge yes and no’s and not just get a load of yes’s from people that may not actually turn up. I probably wouldn’t be interested in going somewhere to just here a chat about legal advice as it sounds a bit boring. But… I would probably go if it were marketed as a meet up with fellow bikers at somewhere like the ace or OMC and it “included” a chat about legal stuff, if it were advertised as just a chat then I doubt it would interest many people.
Yep, I’d be interested. Be good to meet you given all of the advice you’ve kindly proffered over the years too! I might even bring some biscuits and some La Vazza!
I’d like to come. For MAG events in central London I’ve talked to The Miller near Guys hospital as a possible venue. They said that they have an area that I could use for free if I get at least 30 people, it can hold up to 50. It can be isolated and its got am sound system and projector if needed. It only a few minutes from London Bridge and borough market

If you would like me to come along to one of your meetings, I will be happy to do so. The London Bridge office of my old firm is 200 yards down the road from Borough Market, so I know the area reasonably well.
If anyone is a member of the Thames Valley RoADAR group or the Wey Valley Advanced Motorcycle group, I am guest speaker at Thames Valley on Wednesday night and Wey Valley in Guildford on Thursday night. If you are there, do come up and introduce yourself and say Hi.
