A prat, a GSX and a bus

I was on they way home last night when I arrived behind an old red GSX, you know the one with the realy big back light. Anyway we were in town and I got passed him while filtering. Didn’t think any thing about him again untill I get to the Marylebone flyover and he goes speeding past me as soon as I move into the inside lane.

I catch up with him again where the traffic builds, just after White City and he’s filtering quite quickly with me behind him. This carries on until we are stopped at a pedestrian crossing and joined by a guy on a BMW.

Lights change and off we go again, we are approching the major set of lights where there is a filter lane to turn left, bikes use this to get to the front of the queue. Unfortunatlly a bus has pulled right upto the white line, blocking any gap between the bus and the curb.

The GSX rider pulls up along side the bus and curb, the BMW rider decides to go around the paved area on the left and pull infront of the bus. I go behind the bus and filter down it’s right hand side to the front.

This is where the guy on the GSX loeses it and rides his front wheel over the curb between a bollard and the bus, but try as he may he can’t get the rear wheel to follow. Much reving and tyre screaching follow. The lights turn green and the BMW guy and me leave him there well and truley wedged, can’t go forward, can’t go backward and blocking the buses forward movement.

Don’t know how they got him out of it.

What a ****

You didn’t fancy helping the prat out? lol :stuck_out_tongue:

yeah why didnt you help the fool out? :stuck_out_tongue:

Or take a picture at least :stuck_out_tongue: :w00t:

I actually thought about helping him, but then thought I’d just be holding more traffic up, and anyway he got himself into the mess.

LOL.

reminds me, when I got my first bike, I ridden to my girl friends and it had started to rain. I parked up and as I was they came out and told me to park it up on the pavement outside the neighbours as it was empty and had a ground anchor I could use.

Anyway the curb was too high and I couldn’t get the back wheel up onto the pavement. couldn’t push myself back off either as I was barely touching the road with my feet, due to the camber of the road.

The image of us all laughing at my misfortune in the rain still makes me smile and my girl friends dad running out in his slippers to lift the back on. :D:w00t:

I pity the fool.

I just saw the title A Prat and a GSX automatically thought of TUG :D:D
