Found this site the other day while looking for good biking resources. I live in North West London (near Harrow), and work in the City, so this site was a great find! I recognise a few names from other forums I frequent, so I hope it’s a friendly place.
I am new to biking - did my CBT in August, bought a 125 the next day to practice on (a Yamaha XT125R) and have been riding around on it regularly. I am off to World of BMW in October to do a DAS course and test. Really looking forward to it, although I suspect the weather is going to be “fun”.
Spending a lot of time trying to decide what bike to buy once I pass my test, lurching between a 650GS, Hornet, and some weirder stuff I have a feeling I am am going to end up with a few over the years (already not sure I want to part with the XT when I get something bigger - it’s my first bike afterall!)
Anyway, enough waffling. Hope to participate fully in the forum from here on in
I am also a newbie to the site. I have been riding for a couple of years, and have changed my bike earlier in the year to a Kawasaki ER6F, and I love it.
I live in North West London between Edgware and Wembley, and use the bike on most days to commute to Holborn. So a visit to the Ace on a Monday night should be fun.
I have a feeling I am am going to end up with a few over the years (already not sure I want to part with the XT when I get something bigger - it’s my first bike afterall!)
