So, itās begun! After the recent bout of media stirring with the Ross/Brand affair, the general public and tabloids have started demanding the resignation/sacking of anyone they donāt particularly like!
Yes, Clarkson is brash, rude and opinionated. But isnāt that why people watch the show? If people donāt like what he says, why donāt they change channel and watch bloody songs of praise or something equally less likely to offend their highly moral lives!!!..

What is wrong with people? Itās common knowledge that Clarkson likes to wind people up with inflammatory statements, particularly those parts of the motoring world he either doesnāt understand or like. If youāre likely to get upset by him, donāt watch the bloody programme! - I did watch it and thought it was very funny

It was in ābadā taste, but still bloody funny. People need to take a very large pinch of salt when watching TopGear. Silly buggers, of course Clarkson is being rude, that is how he is!

Number of complaints at the time the programme was shown: very few.
Number of complaints once the press have told all the people who never watched the show in the first place to go and watch it and then complain: thousands.

You lot are not going to believe this: I was watching the South East News and the newsreader sneezed during what was a very solemn story about someoneās pet being injured because it got caught down a drain.

I thought the episode as a whole was very funny but I thought the ājokeā about killing a prostitute was pathetic. My concern was not bad taste but quality control - it was just not funny.
