30 next year

I am 30 next march annoyingly and never had a big party should i bother or pretend it didn’t happen

Would it be less annoying if it were say February or April?

30’s a tough one . . . one solution and it comes in bottles!

im 30 in Dec… and will be in Venice with my Fiancee and her dad!

hmm :Whistling: how drunk should i get?

ooh i love Venice.

not sure i’d want to be there with my father in law though

Ditto!

Im still waiting to be taken there

i went to venice last march was freezing and i got bored after the 2nd day

not helping with my dilema tho all this talk of venice lol:cool:

How can i refuse a request like that? When shall we go?? :w00t::hehe::stuck_out_tongue:

Sorry! Well for my 30th I had a surprise birthday party at home with friends, family and colleagues, although I couldnt get drunk as I was pregnant :Whistling:

I think you should definately do something! Look at Ryanair and Easyjet for cheap flights to somewhere. Im 40 in 2 years and its already been planned by my friends that we are going to a girlfriends timeshare apartment in Orlando with just the girls! YAY!!

i went in March last year for my birthday.

In May for the bank holiday and had 5 days at The Lido in August.

Wasn’t bored once, far too much going on.

Great restaurants, culture even the odd club.

Just need a new girlfriend and i’ll have a reason to go this year :stuck_out_tongue:

Pah! hate the fuss of birthdays. Get the money and spend it on something worthwhile - just say no to crap presents. Demand cash and buy toys.

40 in a few weeks time and going to Twickenham with my oldest boy, to see Wasps v London Irish and Saracens v Harlequins . Cannot think of anything else I would rather do on my birthday.

It’s just a number mate, these days if you look after yourself mentally and physically it can be difficult to tell how old someone is. I’ve seen people about who are 10-12 years younger than I am but look older because their minds are dead and they don’t do any excersise! I’ve stopped counting now and just try and keep changing/progressing (hopefully for the better).

are you talking to yourself?! :hehe::w00t:

beats talking to you
;o)

Hey Wiggle, when in March is your 30th?

It’s my 40th next March, although I feel like an 18yr old, all I have to do is find one that’ll have me!! :w00t:

Just go out and get hammered, that’s more or less how I spent my 30th and how I will probably spend my 40th too!

Sleazyjet tickets in the mail

I did the 30 thing this year wiggle, man it really messed with my head in the months leading up, i was a bloody misery! can’t tell you why? i’m all cool now though…

I’d say mark it by doing something you’d really like to do, dont feel you’ve gotta have a party if it aint your thing, but if it is, wicked! invite as many people as ya know and get trollied!!

I’m sure you saw my post, i went to bolonga for a couple of days to the ducati factory, a Beautiful break i’ll never forget… oh and i went and got me some HP and bought a new bike, you’re only young once… !!

Whatever you do, make sure it’s what you want to do.

Don’t be pressured by thinking you ought to do what others expect.

The alternative is to exploit the special day and get some slack to just do sod all. My preferred option.

Don’t matter if there’s a naught on the end. I just take the day off, go to lunch with a friend or two, after the pub meeting place. Doss away the afternoon and take the immediate family out in the evening. Kick back and enjoy.

10th mate

yeah that looked good
