is anyone braving the cold tonite, and venturing to the ace???
Quite possibly! Might end up straight at Soho/Frith St, not sure yet. Will see!
No comments! lol
Nooooo mate don’t do it all that salt on the road and your lovely new R1
aslong as the roads aint wet it will be ok bsides ive done 250 miles since wednesday, as for going to frith street i do not know how to get there so i may be up the ace if i can russel up a few homies, or ill stay at home.
Will be there… Ace to Soho
Road salt is only a bad thing if you leave it on your bike to corrode metal. Give the bike a wash with cold water after, or the day after and it’ll be fine. My K5’s hardly been washed this winter and I used it everyday, and there’s minimal corrosion, a couple of nuts furled is all.
Does that advice apply to BRAND NEW 'peds?
Flatout, I doff my cap to your devotion to biking. I fear the 675’ll be tucked up until Spring has sprung.
My bike looks like new, mostly, and it’s a year old, draw your own conclusions Andrew Get out and stop worrying. I thought Northeners were supposed to be a tough lot?
“Nuts furled”? You been riding without your pants (again)?
My point exactly
In this weather? They wouldn’t be exposed, they’d be retreating! Mad people…
I agree with you Jay on this. Having ridden many bikes year round I havent had a problem as long as you keep washing them. Also have found scotoilers good if you can handle the messing about with them>
