I was thinking of trading up from my '08 Hornet to a CBR600rr or Fireblade next year but I’m not convinced. It’s basically a fared Hornet by appearance.
I might have to rethink my choice. I did look at the Ducati 848 on Saturday but it doesn’t have ABS brakes which I consider as a basic neccesity for all bikes.

but personaly id keep the hornet

Thank the gods!! I obviously read it wrong. This CBR600F will probably be just as comfortable for pillions as the Hornet but then you might as well get a Hornet otherwise it’s the same with a tighter turning angle. If you want different tuning the RR will probably do the trick quite nicely.

love it, can is horrible though but can imagine they’ll be some sweet aftermarket ones coming out for it!
