Sorry to hear, that sucks!
I saw one just like that on the forecourt of the KTM dealer near Croydon on Friday. I’d never seen one in the blue paint scheme.
Think KTM’s are pretty popular with the theiving gits for some reason. Couple of years ago a friend of mine bought a brand new KTM, can’t remember the model, picked it up on the Monday or Tuesday, it was nicked by Friday morning. Had it parked up in his front garden, Kingston area. Couldn’t believe it was gone so quick, seems to indicate people cruising around specically looking for targets.
They are popular for 2 reasons:
- Big demand for them in eastern europe
- Big demand for spares (for dirt & supermoto-raced bikes - not so much for mine)
- Have replaced sports bikes like the R6 as getaway bikes in armed roberies and smash & grabs (high performance engine + offroad suspension)
