Women’s ride to Brands Hatch in Support of the first All Women Race sponsored by ThundersportGB and Bikesportnews

CALLING ALL YOU GIRL BIKERS!!

Ride down to Brands Hatch from Girlsbike2 Dorking and support this event

www.bikesportnews. com has teamed up with ThundersportGB to bring you the Brands Hatch Ladies’ Cup on the weekend of June 1.

In an effort to promote the fact that women do, in fact, race bikes and are pretty damn good at it, and as a pre-cursor to trying to get a round of the European Women’s Championship here next year, ThundersportGB has squeezed a ladies’ double header at its Race for the South meeting.

Run on both Saturday and Sunday, the races will be open class

Saturday timetable is as below and the race will start at 5.15 being the last race of the day?? Oh well its a start!!

15-lap race just for the girls with the times collated from all of the timed sessions making the grid.

Cost of entrance is £10 and we can get a reasonably priced lunch there unless we decide otherwise and stop on the way?

We will meet Saturday May 31st at Girlsbike2 at 12noon, they will have the kettle on for us to have a quick cuppa before we leave.

(As Saturday is busy outside for parking if we don’t have enough spaces there is a car park past the shop on the left and one right before the shop on the left, however I will get there a bit earlier and try and make spaces available.)

Hoping that we will get a good bunch of us together to support this event…(Men not excluded)
