It looks like I am not going to be selling my 125 anymore. Strange story really. I received the funds and everything for it and all that was remaining was for me to take it to the new owners home. I got there and police were everywhere. He was being arrested for something else. I left as quickly as I could without crashing and have instructed my bank to deal with the payments which by the way did NOT come from his bank account so I suspect he was being arrested for fraud dealings.
So I am stuck with two bikes now. I am really nervous about it as the garage has a car in it so I can’t park them in there. Does anyone park two bikes outside their home? I have a bike ramp so I can put one in the garden/hallway at a time? But sometimes they are both gonna be outside. What is this like from a security perspective?
you cant choose your family but you can choose where you live…his house his car his rules…accept it - sell one and be nice to your oldman - if you want to keep your bikes without being stolen or run over by your wrinkly…its your choice…
I agree, a biker living in London has to think carefully about where they live. For me, the main feature of a new property is the bike parking facilities. Also, does this mean you get the money and the bike!? Nice bonus if so.
tbh if you’re hanging onto both i’d keep the sv in the safer place with the 125 on the street. but you’ll probably find that once you can ride the sv you won’t tend to use the 125 much…
I don’t want to rain on your parade but are you sure it’s such a good idea to sell the 125 before you do your DAS, (hopefully not) what happens if you fail the test - very easy to do with the u-turn and idiot cage drivers about ?
If you need somewhere to store one of the bikes for a few days, I’d be able to store one at my work for you…It’s a locked workshop within another locked building so it’s plenty secure!!
