2,514 members??

soo we have 2,514 members yet i only ever seem to see max about 50 at meets and newbie meets???

what happens to the other 2464 memebers??? do they only come out when the weather is warm?

You’d have a bit of a prob if all 2514 members turned up at 1 meet though, lol.

Did the site start off with member number 1, as I know you can set some sites at any number?

Yes, the number stated at number 1! It wasn’t me, I’m number 2, oddly.

Most of our other members aren’t so interested in forums and ride-outs, but prefer our news and editorial service. We have a huge readership for this. Thanks to Foxy’s hard work! The site appeals to quite a broad range of bikers… Still, we could do with your help to attract new riding members…

The thing about all forums reguardless of what the forum is about, that there`s always a certain amount of members who actually post, most people sign up and then nothing.

Some of us lurk…

I did see you all leaving the Ace on Saturday for the St. Davids Day Rideout, but I was meeting up with some mates on another forum. I like LB, but don’t get much time to do the ride-outs, and I haven’t even managed a Newbie Night yet! I will when I can though.

Come on. You know you want to

yes but i notice the same faces at the rideouts and meets, there probs is only about 50 of us that regularly meet up, i like the groups but it would be great to see a few others, some come on your shy peeps!!!

I point you in the direction of the 1% rule -

“It’s an emerging rule of thumb that suggests that if you get a group of 100 people online then one will create content, 10 will “interact” with it (commenting or offering improvements) and the other 89 will just view it.”

So, from 2,514 members, 251 will post in threads that others create, 25 will actually try and create threads about things, or news articles perhaps and the other 2,238 will just read things… I think getting 2% to actually meet up isn’t bad going.
