Having seen the video, it’s plain that the bike was clearly to blame. A very naughty R6 indeed, egging him on to wring its neck and do all those crazy things. I think he should be let off with counselling and the bike locked up for 6 months. With no supper.

for me it not the jail term (which I dont agree with but that’s another story) is the fact that the KTM thief (Mr Tan) gets 72 hours community service. Just seems a joke that you can steal peoples motorcycles with impunity (by the way this was not the first time he had been caught)
This is outrageous.
Unless he killed or severely injured someone, giving him a big fine and revoking his license would be far more reasonable.

As for the KTM stealer, I would be banned in an instant from this forum if I allowed myself to express my true thoughts about his case.

KTM theif must be a thick c*nt! I mean, don’t get me wrong I’ve got a KTM dirtbike and I like the whole vibe that KTM has but if you were gonna do some serial bike theft then you’d pick a Jap bike! Not one that might breakdown on the way home due to 59 outstanding recall notices! I mean seriously!!! I thought we were paying for these young bike theives to go to collage and learn all there is to know about bikes… school boy error!

A few people have mentioned that this guy on the bike didn’t kill or hurt anyone. True! But that’s just a stupid thing to say when everyone knows how easy it is to die on a bike. I had a big’un last year and I almost landed on a baby in a pram! The GSXR750 I was on stopped about 6 foot away (aided by a big concrete post). If me and the bike swapped places then I’d have been snapped in 2 and the bike would have killed the baby and probably the mother.

The Law is f@*ked! You can’t do anything legal …(not just anything) Anything legal anymore just incase someone complains because if they do then it’s totally illegal! So what chance has anyone got?
