It’s not good but it’s wrong to blame the Judges. They have to work within strict guidelines oulined by the state and unlike the policiticians who set those guidelines they can’t speak out and complain about the tools they are given to do the job.Not saying Judges are not without fault though

The only problem with capital punishment is that you can never be sure if the killer is the actual killer.
there are many innocent people that are put behind bars to be aquited later on. What if that person was killed?
If they are caught in the act then ok, otherwise you can never be sure as people even confess to crimes they havent commited.

I had a phone call from a very helpful copper this morning re my accident at the end of February (I was knocked off my bike by a van driver who 'simply didn’t see me). Plod advises that the incompetent van driver will be looking at 5 points on his licence and a maximum of a £150 fine. Go figure
