I’m selling my 09 plate hornet (18,700 miles). It’s been an absolute pleasure to ride as my first ‘big’ bike and I’ll be sad to see it go but I can’t justify keeping two bikes and a car :crying:

The good;

09 plate in blue
FA-8 ABS model with linked brakes
Bridgestone Battlax BT023 (rear changed 500 miles ago, front around 3,000 but with loads of tread left and no cupping. Neither have ever been repaired)
Chain and sprockets (from Honda) changed 600 miles ago
Oil & Filter changed 600 miles ago
Air filter (from Honda) changed 1000 miles ago
Spark plugs replaced 1000 miles ago
Front & rear brake pads (from Honda) changed 700 miles ago
Currently fitted with standard exhaust end can but will be supplied with a Blueflame Stinger end cap (see picture)
R&G Aero crash protectors (fitted but never used)
Oxford heated grips
One previous owner (before me)
Never missed a beat, starts every time etc.
This bike has never been dropped
Service stamps from Honda Abingdon up to 13,000, service receipts from OMC onwards

The bad;

It’s a naked bike and as such, there are a few stone chips in the paint on the lower engine casing
The plastic on the mirrors is a little faded with UV light and one has a small scratch where i caught in on my garage wall
The front brake lever squeaks a little sometimes
The spare key is a little out of shape and, although it works, could do with replacing
Small scratch on one of the rear grab rails

All in all, this is a really nice bike and I’ll post better pictures in the next day or so when im home and it’s still light!

Wow, what a bargain! That should fly out the door pal.

Maybe just grease up / squirt some oil onto the brake lever to stop the squeak? One less thing for a potential buyer to haggle over…
