ZXR400

I’ve taken a liking to the ZXR400’s. Yes I know they are about 15 yrs old. However, just interested to know if anybody’s got one or had one and what they are like.

i used to have 1 i bought off me mate adam 95 zxr400L… there not bad good for 130ish stock althou i had mine to 140 but i am tiny so the bike road me handels very well two easy to trow about…but the 750 was better(r.ip 750) mine had the stage 3 kit on it with k&N etc etc was very reliable and did the job there about 60ish bhp stock and keep with my mates 600 cheap to insure aswell.

I’m ow on the hunt for a decent late one, seen a couple on Bike Trader, MCN and fleebay.

I used to see a girl on one during my commute home about 1700. She rode along Commercial Road and turned off right around Limehouse area. Never spoke, never saw her face, but she looked plenty cool.

there are some decent ones going about how ever some off them are ragged to the ground!

This bike comes up for discussion on here quite often, so you’ll get more info and advice if you do a search

there decent bikes good motors…

Thanks all,

Afro - didn’t think of that one chap, cheers.

As some of them will have been ragged, anything special to look out for apart from the normal stuff when looking at one?
