Heya people. i am currentally iding a zxr400 and i am thinking of uprading to a Zx6r B1H. who’s got/had one? anything you dont like about it i.e poor mid range?
also anything i should know when buying one, things to watch out for?

I know he had a problem with the brakes but solved it with another pair of calipers, but I guess that could be a problem with any bike.

yeh i have one… its such a thrill to ride i love it!!! my mates have a r6 and gsxr… i think its more agressive, and for the year of the bike its alot more upto date on the spec, my mates new r6 is alot nice to go round corners and it dips in , where u have to control the ninja and tell it what to do , which takes a bit of getting used to!!!
the mid range is great as its a 636!!
ive put a bigger cog on it which makes ipick up quicker… the only prob ive had with that is if the tyre is cold or a bit wet, the back wheel kickes out!!!

I would like one for a track bike and work horse to keep the mileage off of my 10R!!
Had a go on a Mate of mine and i love it,like the 10 it has “attitude” yeah Chunks another IL4 with the “tude” and a Kwak as well!!! 
Plenty quick enough with nice sharp handling!!

My brother went from a zxr400 to a B1H and has never looked back. He loves it!
Although the B1H has a reputation for being abit cramped and uncomfortable, coming from a ZXR400, this will be a spacious sofa for you! Enjoy!
I rode my mate’s a while ago…Loved it…A real screamer, but with noticeably more mid range than R6s I’ve ridden.
Great bike. I think it would be fantastic on track too.
my previous bike was B1H, bought in '06 with 4k miles, best of the '03 bikes when its came to technology, loved mine to pieces, plenty of power and like afro says, mid range was better than the competition. you wont go far wrong with the kwacka, providing its valves aren’t clattering about while idling. 
Ignore Steve’s comments about Elad - his is a J1/2 model zx6r.
However, if you want further enlightenment re: B1/2

I’d deffo do it, I moved from zxr400, to new zx6r back in 1999 - great move.
They all look the same to me . . . 
That’s shocking coming from a zx6r owner!
The b1 was the first proper good looking zx6r, mine was a G2 model - not exactly a looker!
