Your Clothing & Helmet

Any additional feedback on the subject very welcome…

thanks for answering the poll…

Try to buy all my stuff from my mate Nod at http://www.thebikerstore.co.uk/ from his shop down in Tonbridge.

He also has an interest in Helmet City so you can get most stuff.

I have bought online and from a show but i usually buy from a shop.

Well you can tell your mate you just got him a sale, saw your link had a flick through the site and just bought a new summer mesh jacket from it.

I’m a big fan of online shops, but not for clothing/helmets. There’s no substitute for trying something on, and I want shops to stay in business, so I would feel a bit a thief trying stuff on in the shop and then ordering it online.

Got most of my kit from shops but I have picked up two lids and a set of boots from the bike shows this winter.

Don’t buy clothing/lids online mainly because it might not fit right and I dont know if the courier has drop kicked the helmet box!

Which one did you go for, I got the Joe Rocket UFO in Gray/White and wore it right through to Summer & Autum.

Got the mesh trousers to go with it as well

wheres the option for all 3 ?

Yep, went for the UFO jkt as well but in black.

cheers for the feedback, i still think the shop thing is favorite, I bought my last pair of leathers online, it was a bit of a faff, i had to pay for 2 pairs and send back the ones that didnt fit…

If only everyone was as stand up as you dresie! I was expecting far more people to say that they tried in shop then bought online…

Shop all the way, but thats only because if i decide to buy something i want it then and there.

Difficult to resist all those nice fleeces you see in the shops?

Mostly shops, as you have no idea how anything has been treated during transit. Just received a flyscreen today that had been split in two. Only tend to get things on line that can’t really be broken, or really hard to find bits and pieces.

went out with sue this morning to find her some leathers hat boots gloves ect , spent two hours in lagunas at maidstone she tried on every thing she liked the look of but none of them fitted in the leg length all the knee slider areas where on the shins do other women have trouble with having short legs? sues a size 10/12 depending on what make she tried on even the short length didnt fit!!! so she left with nothing but i on the other hand left with a Beric 1 piece suit sidi vortex boots:cool: back and chest protector  I stopped at that lot but sue wanted me to get an agv but couldnt justify paying £465 for a lid when ive allready got 2 viper gp’s…i hate taking her shopping!!! lolcan any one suggest a pair of leathers for the shorter woman? or will we have to have made to measure ones

this is ya place, they have a shop in dorking, not far from box hill…
