Yoshi R55 slip on...advice

Hi

Just need some advice about replacing the standard can on my GSXR 750 K9.

My bike was recently reversed into and knocked over by a white van man… insurance is happy to pay out for all the damage which includes a dented exhaust (which is currently standard and costs 830 + vat to replace!!!). Have been thinking about changing the exhaust for a while and now seems like a good idea since the insurance will cover it. Just not sure what to get, the Yoshi R55 slip on was recommended by the chap where I got the estimate done, and since its £300 cheaper than the standard can, I could make a little money on top…Any thoughts or recommendations?

problem is I’m only able to put my own choice of can on if I choose the ‘take the cash’ option from the insurance, in which case they pay me the figure given in the estimate (less VAT) so anything much more expensive will mean me paying out of my own pocket… which I don’t really wanna do…so something around the £600 inc vat really…

ah ok, well you could just get the slip on, rather than the full system? Mate’s got an r55 full system on his 750, proper howls:D
