Double exhausts look naff! Should have gone with two stubbies like the 750’s! Think of the weight, why!??!?
apparantly the stubbies cause a loss in BHP cos of their length
I don’t subscribe to that. Long exhausts can typically allow tuners to go for more torque, whilst short ones for more power (as they breath easier), for example; WSB/AMA/BSB bikes have long exhausts to get more torque for short circuits and because of the BHP limit imposed. MotoGP bikes on the other hand have fast circuits and no power limits so have short exhausts.
I have the Racefit ‘Mega’ on mine which is very short, and that gave me a 10bhp increase in power. Lovely-jubbly. Though really I could do with more torque.
well only way to resolve this is for you to lend me your bike for a week so i can test the theory out, lol
