Yet another biker down

Got knocked off my bike by a van driving t*@t on Sat.

I was filtering down outside of traffic approaching a red light. Man in van pulls straight out of side road, and into the side of me. impact pushed me into a car ahead of me.

I ok, apart from sore foot, where van hit me. Bike is rideable, but will be a write-off - nearly every fairing damaged, front headlights damaged, marks on frame and swingarm.

Bloke in van nearly assualted me after the accident, he was upset that I had a go at him for hitting me. What a ****!

Got 2 witnesses, and taken pics of scene and bike damage.

Up to insurance to sort out - however long that may take.

Sorry to hear this mate. Glad your ok and got off with just a sore foot. Unfortunately this happens all too often. Too many careless tvvat’s on the road unfortunately.

I have a colleague at work who’s son had an accident and he says they have been great in handling everything for him…So I wouldn’t hesitate to contact them.

Insured with Carole Nash, have legal cover, and looking into whther get hire bike.

Chatting to a bloke on VFR 800, he quoted £2,500 just to repair damage from stationary off.

Reckon the Kwaka’s had it

But money should get me a new one

If an accident solicitor thinks you are clearly going to get paid out, then get a hire bike, it really speeds up Insurance Companies payouts if the £3000 bill is going up £250pw. If it isnt, then delaying paying you earns them money in interest . . .

Here here on the biker support they are FAB and have sorted me out after my accident last week. Hope you get sorted soon…
