ok here is the advert i wanted to put into gumtree:Up for sale is a Silver Yamaha YBR 125, fairly new bike as bought in 2010.
Mileage: 7,206 as been used for commuting and travel. It’s a great commuter, works without fail and is a great buy to learn on. Only one owner, has one year warranty. Full service history – 2 services. Hpi clear. V5, original key with spear key and a handbook present. Selling with free top box; there are noticeable scratches on the top box as the bike has been dropped once whilst going around small roundabout.
Reason for sale: purchased 600cc bike. Wishing to sell this bike ideally within 2 weeks of advertisement if not it will going to dealership on 11 March. Bike will be sold as seen with no returns.
This bike was purchased when new at £2,270; due to it’s mileage and use - this bike is up for sale at £1,500
it costs a bit to advertise so for now i’m going to just advertise it here. if anyone knows anyone who needs a learner bike please pass this message on.
I’d try Gumtree. I sold my CBR125 and my Hornet on there within days of putting up the adverts. I also paid a tenner for an ad in MCN and didn’t get one enquiry, but had several through Gumtree.
couldn’t wait till tomorrow, i’ve just posted my ad in there as well. however i doubt i’m going to get a lot of luck in there as it seems to be car orientated forum…and a good sort of car forum…fast cars…oh, well i found a section that said “bike banter” bound to get noticed by bike lovers
