Yamaha Xp500 Tmax 2002 18,000 miles For sale is my Father-in-laws 2002 Tmax. He has owned this for about 4 years now but at 70 years old has decided its too big for him, hence the sale. Its a lovely example of one of these and in that lovely and rare wine red metallic colour. The last owner was a mechanic and it was regularly maintained and had a new belt and rollers fitted prior to my father-in-law buying it at 14000 miles. It has a Givi touring screen and I think he has the sports screen laying about. the leg wind deflectors. K&N air filter, Leo 4 Road full stainless exhaust system. Rack. Recent new Bridgestone tyres. I also fitted an R6 4 pot front caliper upgrade for him. Just been taxed for 6 months (might be a year actually?) and just been through its MOT in September with no advisories. We all went over to France recently and the Tmax performed brilliantly but did guzzle some juice? I think its running rich to be honest? Apart from that I cant think of anything to fault it on. The only problems its ever had was it had a new charge relay fitted and water pump oil seal. As its over 12 years old there must have some marks on it but it does look really, really clean when you’re in front of it. As I say, he is very reluctantly selling this to downgrade to a SH300 and will be very sorry to see it go as its his pride and joy. So if you’re looking for a nice clean, straight mk1 Tmax you have just found one. Price is £1795 ONO. I’ll add some better pictures later on. Bike is in Basildon, Essex.
