Hello
My bike was stolen a few hours ago from a solo bay in Lincoln inn fields, holborn…
Guy in an ice cream van reckoned that he noticed a white transit short-wheeled base pulled up real close to the bay and a side door opened and 3 white guys got out but he seen nothing else.said they were gone within a minute…
He could of been there scout for all I know
Police said the area is a black spot for CCTV
How could nobody notice a bike been lifted in a sunny afternoon and the alarm must of been blairing!
Goes to show nowhere is safe

Sorry to hear this mate. Have you got a pic? Stick it up on every social media site you can.“FB - they stole my wheels” etc. People will share & you might get lucky.
Mind you it is surprising how quick two men in a transit with a side door can nick a bike, they stop alongside the bay so nbody can see on the other side ( they make sure nobody passing on by the bike bay) …within 1 second the side door is open and one guy is already at your bike. By three seconds the front wheel is lifted in , by six seconds the rear wheel, then it’s only a matter of a few seconds to slam the door and they’re off… 8 seconds max.
It’s not surprising that this can happen in broad daylight on what looks to be a busy road but nobody sees it…
