Is anyone else tempted by the news before Christmas that Yamaha where in advanced works for a FJR800?
I’d be certainly interest to how it turns out.
This could be promising. Could mean a good rival to the VFR800. I can see it outselling the VFR as I doubt it will have the crappy VTEC system. You can’t beat the look of the VFR though.

I would imagine that a FJR800 would have a more comprehensive fairing, and a retuned 800 engine. But time will tell.
I’d be interested if it was reasonably pillion friendly and has decent suspension - the Fazer 8 is roundly panned for the bouncy bits and my missus laughed at the back seat. MSL tends not to be a sensationalist comic either.

Cheers Kevsta, will hunt down a copy. Had a very brief test ride on a TDM 900 on Saturday, so definitely considering various Ducati replacements.
