Not the hat, Lee, the bloody wig! My helmet’s just big enough for a balaclava, but a full corkscrew curl Santa wig was pushing it! The marks went down eventually and I regained some feeling in my forehead and ears. Had to take some paracetamol, though, when I got home! Quite miss the warmth the beard provided…
