As I understand it if someone breaks into your home it’s ok to use reasonable force now. Just don’t answer your door. If someone tries to break in make sure you have something that will impart reasonable force handy and don’t over do it and you’ll most likely be fine.
If it is a ‘serious’ person I doubt they would bother with the fuss of sending someone round etc. (unless it was a very valuable item I guess) Does sound like an idle threat- you’ve got to think whats in it for them…do people really do this sort of shit for ebay rankings?
