Woohoo! Passe My CBT Today!

Hi All,Spent most of the day pottering around on a Yamaha SR125 and gained my coveted DL196 for the pleasure

Now, where’s my credit card and an open bike shop

Steve

Well done Steve, now the fun begins mate;)

Have you decided whether to do your DAS or not?

Either way, enjoy it and stay safe:cool:

Cheers

Was speaking to the instructor and even though he’s doing himself out of a quid, he suggested I go for my A2 by getting me 125cc, book my theory and practical online and just see them for a day or two training to get some pointers whilst using my own bike.

That way I can afford to get it before the new test comes in March and to be honest, I don’t mind the 33bhp restriction for a couple of years…

The mother-in-law had a restricted 600cc (Fazer) which apparently was excellent (according to the father-in-law, who rides a Firestorm :D)

Still considering options, but that sounds like an option that is both sensible on my capabilities and on my pocket

Can you tell I’m still grinning like a maniac

The missus says I gotta bath though, coz I stink of bike

Good news, enjoy the ride.

well done, good for you !!

weldone  welcome to our world

:D:D:D

Nice one, Steve - well done!

Good idea doing your A2 test - if you feel more comfortable on a 125, that’s what you should do it on.

And, presumably, if you get frustrated before your two years are up you can just do the big-bike test, can’t you?

Well done m8…nowt more pleasing than getting your 2 wheel licence! (Well…CBT certificate)

well done!

The fun is just starting!!!

Well done! Have fun and stay safe!

Well done!

Good news.

Now get lots of experience (no substitute for miles) and build an NCB, whichever route you choose.

Just stay right side up and without “sudden stops”.

Go enjoy.

Congratz, its a step in the right direction

Congratulations – it’s a fantastic feeling!

It’s good advice from your instructor but 2 years is a long time on a 33bhp, you may get very bored!

Well done Stevie! :cool::cool::cool:

Yay! Congrats mate. If you’re happy now wait till you get your A2!!

hehe… all I’m missing now is the bike :hehe:

Cheers

Sure can - will hopefully have enough miles under my belt by that time to just do a day or two to get pointers for the test - everyone on here was right, the 125cc doesn’t have a lot of power, but still goes fast enough for the time being
