Wooden pallets?

Anyone know where I can get hold of 'em on the cheap? They’re for a component of a unicycle trials course, so I’m not worried about load-bearing, weight or dimensions, just price!

how many do you need? as there is a place down near my parents that give them away when they have finished with them…

There used to be a company at Western International Market just off Jct 4 of the M4 that dealt with pallets when i worked there, but that was 18 years ago… Alternatively if you are that way then pop in on a saturday and see if there are any that may be lying about/broken that you could use. May need to ask security if they mind. Or try Covent Garden Market (thats the Fruit and Veg or Flower Market)

Sleeper & PJ; Four or five would be great - though every little helps! If you kin let me know where they might be available from, I’m quite happy to pop down in the motor and try my luck.

If you’re anyway near E14 (isle of dogs) I can get them for free for you.

Show us some pics when you do the “unicycle trials course” - intrigued to see what goes down

I trust this unicycle is motorised?* Or have you joined some fringe anarchist bicycle liberation front?

(Yup. I’ve seen a powered one wheel. In France, being ridden on the road with registration plates. And they think we are odd.)

Free?

lordy!, we are in process of moving, work and they are buying em for £7 each, lol.

Not sure where you are, but there is a place in Lewisham (SE6) that gives away free. On Engate Street, just off the top of the High Street on the one way system. Not sure of the name, but if I pass by will have a look.

Good luck with the build.

there were some down brighton beach friday night, before they got burnt
lol

Whenever I have needed them I have just picked some out of the local brook.

I have offered him some from my work. So he’s going to see if he can get over.

Muntu - PM sent. Cheers.

Jetstream - I’m still learning, so what “goes down” tends to be me, arse-first! Will post some pics, though, when I improve a bit!

Oldguy - clickie!

Everyone else; thanks for the suggestions!
