Just going through my emails, the policy refers to a personal accident policy.
Basically lists a load of permanent disabilities ie loss of eye loss of limb due to accident. And says that they will only pay out 1000 quid in the event of a claim…
1000 ain’t gonna buy me a new leg
1000 in the event of an accident where you are the one claiming from your insurance.
If someone else’s actions make you loose your legs you’ll get a much bigger pay out (providing they don’t wriggle out of it somehow)
The answer to this one is don’t ride like a fanny and don’t do anything that’s going to chop your legs off. Because if it’s your fault you shouldn’t really be entitled to anything…
But think of the money you’d save on only needing to buy one sock and one shoe.
