There’s a nerd word for Googling your own name and the sads are split between being happy they don’t show and being happy they do show.
If there’s nerd work for don’t care either way, it applies to me.
Over ten years ago it was known as “Vanity Surfing” now “Egosurfing” seems more popular, but in my view is not such a good term.
Looks like he is a nerd and has been busy re-editing his own entry. It`s all gone, no reference to his cycling exploits remains!
The good think about Wikipedia is that you can trace who makes edits very easily, and also get a profile of the sort of edits they make. The editor of this shows no signs of being John Snow, but instead being a conciousness editor and composer of items on a variety of political topics. I think it looks like what I feared. A statement like that with no reference will get edited out as Wikipedia standards require some sort of verification to stop people making unsubstantiated statements.
