Wickham Square today

I took a run down to Wickham Square this morning, was hoping to bump into a mate from the South Coast but he had the lame excuse of a puncture. The wife bought me a digital SLR for my Birthday and I wanted to give it some use. I did a tank or so of gas and it rained all the way there and most of it back, but it was worth it just to see this:

Custom Harris frame, custom bodywork, forks and swingarm. Engine was originally from a GSX1150SE, but is now 1380cc. It’s absolutely gorgeous.

Also, not really in into choppers, but get some of this for a rear section !

Nice pictures, and bikes Jelster, for sure. Glad you’re out and about, though take care of yourself, it looks icy as hell out.

Nice pics I love those streetfighter specials!

I remember going to boxhill as a kid and seeing the all current GSXR 1100’s all made into streetfigters where people had bined them. Love it!

Trying to get shots at a bike meet isn’t easy. There’s generally loads of people wandering about, getting in the frame, and you don’t have any control over the subject. That’s why I took the shot of the Harley, it was off of the main square without so many on lookers.

I tried to use the wide angle lens to the best use by emphasising the size of the rear wheel. Mind you, the front one wasn’t much smaller either.

lets ride them all and find out… (I do have sat nav but who cares)

It’s on the A32. Good ride from the A339 @ Basingstoke, over the A31 and onto the A32. Must be worth a ride in the warmer weather.
