Why is it, that when a lovely day like today comes along, I take time and effort to take off all the fairing panels, get down on my hands and knees and clean every visable bit of my bike with muc off and a selection of brushes.
then as soon as I’ve dried it off, I take it for a ride and make it dirty again?
why is it that you dont offer to do the same to my bike ??
(excluding the making dirty bit)
:hehe:
:hehe:
Nothing wrong with dirty bikes! As long as the mechanical side is in order and the chain is lubed and clean - who cares if it’s got a film of dirt and oil over it (except the lights and mirrors of course!).
I think bikes look better when they look ‘used’.
And I think the more “used” they look the less eyes they catch, which might even mean less chance of gettin nicked…?
Mine should be fine then by taht logicm it’s gone from sparkling beauty back to abused commutter in 2 hours.
I think i’ve just halved the insect population of Essex as well
LOL @ halving the insect population in Essex. Its the big juicy ones I like … unless of course theyre struck by the nice exposed bit between leathers and helmet.
Cleaning the bike is a bit like road rage or the so called red mist. Sooner or later youll get over it
