As far as they’re concerned no other bike exists… just like UK sports journos, can’t write about anything except football. It would just be like admitting that all French don’t really smell, or that some Germans do have a sense of humour… their tiny little minds just woudn’t be able to deal with such an open and socially diverse concept.
