Who should I put my claim through?

So on Sunday I was involved in an accident. after battling with trying to get hold of the other party involved we manage to get hold of him and he has confirmed he cannot afford to pay the replacement of my few items of gear let alone repair the bike.

Now I’ve never done this before so i know it can be a pain and very time consuming so I not worried about that. I just want the best results. Now DanielGT swears by Dunne and Gray. However, I do want some balance to all this.

So who would you use and why?

Dunne and Gray

speak to T.C on this forum I would suggest… a retired motorcycle police now is a boss of motorcycle accident solicitor firm…

If you’re insured, can you not process the claim through your insurer even though it wasn’t your bike?

Good luck with it. Sounds like you’ve had the 5hitty end of the stick what with your dealings with the other driver and the police so far. The guy that hit you seems like a bit of an idiot, so grabs him by the balls and squeeze him for everything you can get (metaphorically speaking  )!

Ricco, hope the healing process is kicking in… Surely your claiming against his insurance not him personally, unless of course the officers were so tied up trying to nick you that no one checked he was insured!

Good luck with it, who ever you use…

I have always used rider support services…some will say they are sh*t no doubt…but i have never had issue.

Asked my insurance and they said yes but they would pick up the bike for inspection… Don’t want that as David would lose out on his bike. Infinity recommended mcams. As they’ll let us keep the bike and get us the value of the bike.

The driver has been Really tricky to get hold of. But it’s done now. Discussed money, and claim is the best option.

Now just need to figure where.

*who through

due to the complications with police etc I’d say Rider support services too.

and don’t sign up to a hire bike unless you really have to

Rss hmmmmm each claim of mine has been a year of waiting per payout

and did you lose?

Not NewLaw, they handled my claim and I think they could have done better

Surely you’ll be claiming for personal injury too Ricco :ermm:

Yep. I will. I treid to go to work today. And I was asked to go home. Because I fell “asleep”.

My painkillers made me so drowsy I completeley fell asleep on the managers computer…

Rider Support did both of mine
Won them both
Did take a long time but I didnt contact them because it was only for medical compensation and I had already been paid out for my bike and gear so didnt really care…It was money I would just be saving so it didnt matter

Mine is still ongoing, but I’m using White Dalton. They are handling both the legal and civil side of the procecutions.

My insurance wanted to me to use theirs, but I didn’t like their terms.
