I think we should organise a little drag meet for LB with some timing lights and see what comes up. It would make a really fun day out.
If not organise our own North Weald in Epping do a Run what ya Brung meet and its close to us all as well and they have official timings. I would def be up for that
As for the dyno with barro’s R6 it wouldnt surprise me if that was correct as in last months Ride mag a lady with a 2000 model ZX6 was clocked on accurate equipment at a true 165.5mph on a 2 mile runway and it was showing 175mph on the clock. I wouldnt be surprised if a newer R6 could do more.
Terry that sounds good…it would be interesting to find out what our bikes can do, even if we had just stop watches and a start and finish line !!

Dyno readings are fine as we all like to get better fueling/curves but actual drag racing…give me a break!!!

A dyno cannot tell you what the real top speed of a bike is because it can’t simulate wind drag. Clocks are also only an indication, with most bike clocks over reading around 5-10% at 100mph with the error increasing exponentially as speed increases.
Timing lights are the only way to measure true top speed.
But you ARE a baller !!!
Do we have a result on the biggest peni I mean fastest bike yet? Because if someone sez so, it has to be true and it is most defintely vitally important.

so far, it looks as if its a girl, tehehehe.
Its all fairly unimportant especially if you are a wobbler on a Busa etc with big chicken strips. Bikes fast, the rider pants. Top speed runs are just pissing contests IMO.
As the saying goes, its not the size of the dog in the fight its the size of the fight in the dog 
But the post was about fastest road legal bike, not fastest road legal RIDER?? We all KNOW that a decent rider can piss on ya no matter what bike he rides! You obviously love tearing around corners, so what? nothing wrong with that…whats so wrong in others wanting a straight little fun run to see just what they can get out of their road legal bike?
