....whispers "Hello".

Hello everyone.

I’m yet another X9er, alerted to this Club by Giuliano and his ‘Good Samaritan’ exploits.

Not been riding all that long but love it!

I’ll be at the Ace on the 4th., not least because I usually go to T&G Night which is also on the first Monday of every month.

Like Jimc & JohnP I visit there for breakfast nearly every Saturday with X9ers (gets me out of the house )

Thanks for having me.

Mike.

welcome mate

no need to whisper welcome to the site!

Hello and Welcome

Hi Mike

I only joined here yesterday myself. Looks like the X9ers are starting to invade.

John, that’s why I was whispering…don’t want it to appear we’re invading!

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone.

Mike.

Welcome to LB Mr.Chips… Hope to catch up soon,

Rich

Hi Mike, welcome to LB’s

naaa invade away! what is the X9 forum?

welcome Mike

The X9 Forum was set up 3½ years ago as a virtual Clubhouse for X9ers by one owner and a well-known, excellent Piaggio dealer in St.Alban’s.

It’s expanded greatly in the intervening years with a listed membership world-wide of over 1200 members - a completely mixed bag of novices, ex-bikers, long-time scooterists and interested parties.

There’s a wealth of technical information as well as masses of chat appropriate to a clubhouse - not all x9 related.

We have lots of Rideouts, some of which take us to France and Belgium (I love the Bikers’ Loft in Oudenburg) to ride with European X9 and other maxi owners, and an annual weekend get-together.

As I said before, some of us, up to 20 or so, meet for breakfast at the Ace every Saturday.

It’s a very friendly (although we do have the occasional heated exchanges) forum and is open to those with an interest in X9s as well as owners of them.

Quite a few members have moved on from X9s but can’t escape!

It’s not linked with Piaggio the Company.

Here’s a link to the Forum:

Do have a look and thanks for asking.

Mike.

Yes, I have handle-bar muffs in the winter to go with heated grips.

Mike.

Welcome Mr Chips, will probably bump into you at the Ace soon

Thank you!

I look forward to meeting you.

Welcome Mr Chips. All we need is for JT to turn up now!

SWING. (Clunk. Bugger. Nah, still can’t get the hang of this stick. DA, have you done something to ‘fix’ it?)

Anyway, welcome old fruit. If it’s got two wheels and an engine and you have to wear a helmet to ride it, you are more than welcome to stick your oar in at LB.
