I HAVE A 2006 R6 AND THE REAR RUBBER IS WEARING VERY THIN. I HAVE THE STANDARD DUNLOP SPORTMAX QUALIFIER ON BUT HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THERE ARE MUCH BETTER TYERS ON THE MARKET SUCH AS THE PIRILLI CORSA’S.
I MAINLY USE THE BIKE FOR WEEKENDS AND SOMETIMES TRACKS DAYS. DON’T REALLY RIDE IN WET.
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT GUYS!!

racetec’s are wasted on the road mate.
Unless you pay 50 quid for some part worn or race scrubs then yeah ok its a cheap option but unless in 25 degs plus and your in full nutter mode there no better than a good road tyre.
in fact you would get more grip from a road boot.
Michelin Pilot Power 2CT…Just make sure you don’t get a dodgy front tyre like they have been churning out by mistake.
Either that or the Bridgestone BT-014. Good budget sports tyre I found to be excellent…Great feedback, especially on wet and /or cold tarmac.
I only use Durex mate - ask Tugs Missus. Oh, wrong rubbers - sorry

just spent £240.00 on a set of diablo corsa 3’s…
so far very sticky and the triple compound ive yet to experience…
have to get the bike on its side to see the real results…
gonna go out today to see if i can get the shiney stuff off the sides…
gonna take it easy tho…still not to sure about them…
