Im after a new lid, and despite loving the new arai viper gt in sinister blue, its too expensive
so ive got choice between agv ti-tech, or shoei xr1000
Im after a black one, like the design of the agv, but everyones been banging on about how much better shoei is…
any advice?

i have the XR1000, great lid 
tried all makes etc… just picked the best fit for me, turned out it was a shoei
Got AGV GP-Pro, fits me better than XR-1000, Shoei seems to be of a better finish quality though.
Only you will know which one fits you best and is comfy mate.

xr1000 my favourite lid, but it fits me perfectly and Arai don’t fit at all; so if Arai fit then Shoie probably won’t.
Arai do cheap lids as well.
try the xl carbord box ,cover that ugly mug of yours:D

I’ve got 4 xr1000 there brilliant lids you have to spend as much as you can on your gear fella

I have to say ive been given two bits of advice that i’ll ALWAYS think of when buying riding gear, especially helmets:
The Best (Helmet) available is the one the actually fits you … Everyones heads are slightly different shapes after all…
Buy the best you can possibly afford - How much do you value your life or quality of life?

For me, the fit is awesome, the vents work really weel so its never misted up and its about as heavy to wear as a wooly hat!!
(Plus it looks super trick in plain un-painted black carbon :D)
