wheres the top of my finger?

well yesterday had an accident on site with an acro prop. picked the acro up and the acro slip and like a scissor action cut the top of finger off. 7 stiches 3 steri strips later all repaired. fingers crossed it holds back together. ( no pun intended) lol.

Blimey !! :w00t: Ouch !! Hope it heals too mate…you need all ur fingers, if only to stick em up at cagers !!

That’ll smart a bit!

How much have you lost.

Hope it heals quickly matey.

the complete skin on the under side of the nail back to the bone if it doesnt heal il have to have the tip reoved and filled down. its a killer.lol. the pain is just wrong.

I sympathise whole heartedly. I break out in cold sweats if I manage to get a paper cut on my fingers. Practically chopping one off has got to equate to 12 on the 1-10 pain scale.

Oh, god! That’s awful!

I hope it turns out OK. At least it wasn’t the whole thing!

Aye Caramba!

:w00t:

Hope it heals up

I hope it’s not your nose pickin’ finger

Was it your hole finger or the one next to it

Ouch!

Who are you pointing the finger at for it happeing.:stuck_out_tongue:

ROFL! :D:D Hope it takes matey! If not, no win no fee etc etc… being a Construction H&S guy (dont laugh) I can help. Pm me if you loose it, and PM me if you have more than 3 days off work because of it…

pah… call that an amputation? I’ll show you an amputation…

Seriously though, hope it does fix itself, and the pain goes - what you probably need is 200mg of Tramadol & 1 g of Paracetamol every 4 hours, - it worked for me…

Eewww…hope it heals quickly. It’ll probably be fine…except in cold weather.

Good luck.

dip it in vinager…wont help but will be funny as fugg for anyone watching ya squeel like a pig :D:D:D

Ouch Yam Yam. You have my sympathy.

I chopped the top of my right index finger off last year and turned the end inside out (hedge cutter). They managed to stuff it all back in and save it – I hope yours takes too.

It’s odd though, you lose the touch sensation in the end of the finger (apparently takes years for nerves to grow back).

Worse thing was I was off the bike for a fair while (and had to learn to wipe with my left hand which was a messy learning curve!)
