Try Supreme Motorcycles in Kennington Road near the Imperial War Museum behind Waterloo Station. The MOT’s are usually booked up well in advance so give them a bell. An old no nonsense family run firm working on everything from British classics to modern Vespas as far as I can see from my limited dealings with them.
I get mine MOTd and serviced at Scooterworks (67-68 Enid Street SE16 3RA 0207 2377223). They deal primarily with geared scoots, but I’m sure I’ve seen ETs there. Give them a call. Very friendly and trustworthy. They have a shop behind Waterloo station, but the workshop is in Bermondsey.
chazbikes (Gt suffolk street) is another option - near southwark tube so easy to get in and out to. I’ve always had a good job for a fair price from them.
i wouldnt use em for mot’s, if anything is wrong with bike for mot they will find it and fail you or you will have to pay out to fix it.
Now you will say if it is wrong it should fail etc but wot i mean is stuff like bikes with import headlights etc, any decent place will stick a bit of tape over the offending light direction or you can buy deflectors for this but not chas bikes.
Depending where you are m8 i use roger hollingshead at catford.
get an mot checklist and basically look over your bike yourself, basic stuff really lights, horn, mirrors wheels etc etc and just take it to a mot place for just an mot, cost about £25.
London Scooters (off Bermondsey St) did good work for both me and the Mrs recently (one of us had a service, the other had an MOT). I think they’re on hols until end of this month (but that’s only a few days, anyway). Did my MOT quicker than the time it took me to walk to the nearest cafe, have a cuppa, and walk back.
Don’t use chazbikes! I’ll go out of my way to avoid these cowboys. After agreeing one price on the phone for some repairs, the bill was double the agreed.
