I have been meaning to write something, but i wasn’t involved in organising it, wasn’t involved in sweeping or in any of the decisions made on the day. I can only write about a very limited experience - mainly consisting of standing around wondering what I was meant to be doing!
if you have a story to tell from a personal point of view then tell it.
I have every intention of doing so - but it will be a very incomplete and personal story which wouldn’t be aimed at being a Londonbikers write up becasue I don’t think my experience would do the event, or LB justice.

A very good write up! I tried writing something Saturday, but my experieince could not be expressed as positively as that. Well done!
Just read the write up. Well that raised a lump in my throat. I felt like a right failure at the end of the day and after reading how you saw us… aw love you guys too. Seriously, I’m here because of the stella bunch you are. I remember chatting to Barro before we left Richmond Park too… can’t remember what about but I was probably being a grief merchant.
I was so bored enroute… thank you for keeping me amused, having faith in me and making me feel good about myself. (I don’t have the highest of self esteems).
My perception of it all is that us walkers admired you LB’ers for giving us the courage to carry on… everyone has said it was down to your attitude and encouragement that kept us all going… you were with us all the way and didn’t give up. Makes you all heros in my book.

Ok got the wrong name to face… i was talking to M9performance outside the gates/loo. What does Baro look like? Or is that like asking what the scarlet pimpinell looks like?

Fantastic words, well done Mike. Bought back lots of good memories and a few not so good ones but still great to be part of something so special and despite all the hassles we raised a million that has to be good!
