where is heathrow?

so yesterday i’m at westminster facing big ben sitting at the traffic lights, this woman comes over and asks me general direction to heathrow…i tell her she’s far away, she says she knows but just wants to know general direction at least so she can take a cab…i tell her the cab driver would know his way anyway…and show her my presumed direction by imagining where big ben would be in relation to heathrow.

then next day…i kid you not i’ve got a guy in a “family car” wind his window down and ask me for directions to heathrow…whilst we are stationery at elephant and caste…

is there something happening at heathrow?? apart from tourists coming and going…but the bigger question is if you’re that far away from your destination don’t bother with random directions…get a map or get gps phone out

tell them to follow the air planes

That could cause fun it it is landing at London City.

Nope, nothing strange going on…I guess they could not see a copper to ask

+1 Follow the van plane or

ask a propper old time copper because you can’t trust a special Rusty

A4 - follow it the whole way from knightsbridge

When you get to Avonmouth double back to Junction 18 of the M5 and follow the big blue signs marked ‘LONDON (M4 E)’ for 108 miles, peel off at Junction 4 and then follow the Heathrow signs, unless you’re wanting terminal 4 which is somewhere else.

look north, it’s this way.

Strangely on my computer that is dead on correct. That does point north.

Second star to the left and straight on 'till morning.

And mine :w00t: go figure !!!
