I was born and grew up in SHEFFIELD until I was 15 years old, when we all headed ‘down south’ and I realized people talked funny ‘down south’ and changed my accent Sheffield - the best city in England. It has it all - lovely hilly countryside, good shops, friendly people, proper snow in winter, home of parkin, the Full Monty, Sheffield Philharmonic, the Crucible, the Leadmill and the Limit, and an exciting array of bands from the Human League to the Arctic Monkeys. Sheffield - i challenge anyone in the UK to come up with a better city than this. London and Birmingham - nice try, but you ain’t got it. Oxford and Cambridge - too many tourists and students, Norwich - too many wierdos and public school goths. Come on folks, tell me in twenty words or less if your city of birth can beat Sheffield. I bet it can’t :D:D:D
