When I were a wee lad

:D:D:D

 haha

MY BROTHERS GOT THAT BIKE GPZ900R A1:)

I had one too, when I was your age;)I remember how picky people were at the time about the small z in GPz 900 too:DOne of the true milestones in Jap bike design IMO. The first ever Ninja and the start of the legend:DWhat seemed to be so amazingly quick in those days would easily be outgunned in all ways by todays 600s:Whistling:

pmfsl they was? how stupid if that matters so much get a big Z lol. yer i **** him off cos i call him that chap from top gun and he dont like it…it’s still a fast bike today even for its age and weight etc even better with the stage 3 kit etc:) fun fun

and one off my posters-

aint that engine the same as the cb900f just bored up more etc? as my old man has a 1980 cb900f2 and wanna put the 11 tops on it…

Haha yeah it was stupid:D

I remember quite a few heated discussions about the little z down the pub…lol

You could really p!ss you bro off and tell him that Tom Cruise actually rode the GPz 750*;):D:D:D

*So legend has it:hehe:

yes i could but why would i do that when they look the same and i am having so much fun pissing him off:D:D did ur’s ever have the over heating probs??? as both my brothers 9r’s did so we fitted a 1000rx rad as its bigger and a manual fan switch seems to do the trick;) all thou his dont look like the 1 from top gun now but still:w00t:

Lovely clean example there, a credit to your bro Dan:)

All the time i owned it (2 yrs from new) I had cooling probs with it and it spent soooo long sitting in the shop. Had trouble with carb icing too, even recently I think kawa still have probs with that.

When it was working it was a lovely bike

The RX was a fuggin wierd handling beasty, the one after that, the ZX-10 was a lovely one too, even if it was a bit lardy, like me…lol;)

yer the rx is a odd one road one a while ago yer its very clean not! but we like bikes that looks like crap and move:D never had the carb icing probs yet. also running the 1000rx carbs theres a chappy we no who has the same 9r fitted fuel injection etc thats fun to ride! i remember taking his 9r into town on the way to the ace in traffic it never used to like that! spilled it’s coolent out every were but it was fine doing 100+ round the motorways loved it. prob be fine at lower speeds as long as it was moving but that bigger rad sorta that out;) but i love the 16" front wheel my gamma also runs a 16" front;) i get sick off doing other ppl’s bikes while mine looks like **** so mines nxt! ha ha yes and a mate has the zx10 aswell we all love the old bikes:D:D haha lardy ill be like that in 10 years i like my beer and food  i donno my mate just got a 2000 zx9r thats been ok(sofar) when i took it round the m25 etc loved it…

I was a bit of a Warhammer 40k nut… :stuck_out_tongue:

p.s sorry i donno how to get the pictures to come up!

Nice Norton, reminds me of the early 70’s JPS Lotus I had as a poster. The one with the big air intake. Has to be one of the most beautiful and iconic formula one cars ever. Cannot find the exact image but here is one of Emerson Fittipaldi’s JPS Lotus Ford, leading Jackie Stewart and Jean-Pierre Beltoise to victory at Brands Hatch in 1972.

TOP POSTER NICE!

Had Che on me wall back in the 70’s when I was a young kid - before the image became a disconnected fashion icon.

POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!! :P:D
